The Pirelli National Superstock championship heads to Thruxton

The Pirelli National Superstock championship heads to Thruxton this weekend for the seventh round of the season, with Lewis Rollo and Simon Reid both looking to continue their progress and development with the BMW.

Rollo arrives to Thruxton in strong form, having secured three podium finishes in his last four races. The Scottish rider claimed third place in both races at Brands Hatch before adding another podium at Oulton Park in Race 2 two weeks ago.

Reid, meanwhile, will be looking to put the previous rounds behind him as he targets a return to the podium, having secured second place at Snetterton after starting from pole position. He came close to another podium at Brands Hatch, where he battled in the leading group alongside his team-mate. More recently, at Oulton Park, Reid finished eighth in Race 1 before his weekend was cut short by a crash with four laps remaining in Race 2.

Attention now returns to Thruxton, the Hampshire circuit renowned for its fast straights and sweeping corners, as both riders look to continue their progress in the seventh round of the season.
