MLav Racing identity evolves into GRYD Racing in major structural rebrand
The team, jointly owned by Michael Laverty and David Eltherington, officially transitions from GRYD MLav Racing to GRYD Racing across all championships and racing programmes from the 2026 season onwards.
Since entering the Moto3 World Championship in 2022 under the VisionTrack Racing name, the team has continued to grow year after year, evolving through several key phases including MLav Racing, FleetSafe Honda MLav Racing in 2024, and, since 2025, GRYD MLav Racing.
Following continued expansion both on and off the track, including the development of the GRYD clothing brand, the organisation takes the next natural step in its evolution with a full rebrand across all existing racing programmes under the GRYD Racing identity.
From 2026 onwards, the Moto3 World Championship team will compete as GRYD Racing Team, the FIM Moto Junior World Championship programme will operate as GRYD Junior Team, and the Pirelli National Superstock entry will run as Carl Cox by GRYD Racing, replacing the previous GRYD MLav Racing structure across all categories.
Alongside the rebrand, GRYD Racing’s ongoing collaboration with TAS Racing continues to develop further throughout the 2026 season. While the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha British Superbike operation remains unchanged under the leadership of Philip Neill and Steve Plater, GRYD Racing will continue to provide operational support for the duration of the year. From 2027 onwards, GRYD Racing will assume full control as TAS Racing transitions out of the BSB paddock.
The wider GRYD brand continues to expand through its established lifestyle and apparel divisions, with the forthcoming launch of the GRYD sunglasses range marking a new addition to the portfolio, further strengthening the connection between the racing project and its growing global audience.
